This month flew on by as the flowers bloomed in the April showers. My good friends, Brittany and Phill, got married at the end of last month and we had two friends stay with us for their wedding. My mom also got really sick last month so I spent a lot of family time and friend time. My mom is doing better now and recovered well so April was full of beautiful memories. Peep below my bridesmaid outfit and Remy looking like Bowie!
đžMagikats! The Mystery of the Moss
It was SO EXCITING to unbox the first official print proof of Magikats! The Mystery of the Moss (my reaction video coming soon to my YouTube!). The book layout is complete and I have been reviewing different samples. The time to swing into full production is SOON. I am so freaking ready. I will also be expanding the series with softcover comic books (for book one and two) as more cost effective options. I have also been working on creating merchandise in the background to debut along with The Mystery of the Moss at Toronto Comic Art Festival this June! Peep that new book cover below!

I FINALLY created a YouTube Channel Trailer! It feels SO good to cross something off of your list that has been sitting there for literal years, haha. I am so proud of this video! It is so much fun and I was able to draw on a lot of content that I have been working on. It helped me to see how far Iâve come and excited to unlock the next level of my YouTube game. Look back at your creations and see how far youâve come. Give yourself some credit. A friendly pat on the back. Acknowledge your power and celebrate your successes! You have accomplished so much and deserve to feel the satisfaction and enjoyment that it means to be a creator. Once you have sat in the glory of your own heart-space, itâs time to envision your next big move. Itâs time to plan for your future. Itâs time to expand your life, your dreams and to dream bigger. What is your vision? Itâs time to sail towards new horizons.
Connect to your heart space. Rediscover your bliss. Now itâs time to express your complete self. Keep an open heart and an open mind to new streams of inspiration. Give to yourself along your journey. This is the time to replenish the creative soils of your life so they may once again bring a harvest. Take time to recharge and rejuvenate your energy levels. Remember to nourish your spirit along this journey.
We must accept the end of one chapter to enter the beginning of another. Donât take on more than you can handle at this time. Remember to pace yourself and to take breaks. If you experienced any failures in your last project, itâs time to face and heal them. The value of failure is to teach us lessons. Now is the time to face your fears, worries and limitations.
If youâve had an idea on the back burner, there is no better time than the now. Toil the soil and plant the seed. Nurture it and watch it grow. See what happens in your next season of creation! If you need to take a break to gain perspective, take your time and embrace new ways of being. Be curious with your approach. You never know what you might discover along the way,
Ask yourself important questions about what excites you. Keep your eyes peeled for inspiration. Open your ears and listen for any signs. The more information you gain, the more informed youâll be. Take a youthful approach and connect to your inner child for guidance. Allow your inner child to lead the way! You and your inner child make a great team and that makes all the difference. Focus on building a strong relationship with your inner child. Together, youâll be able to conquer your goals while having a blast!
The more you both practice, the better youâll get. Growth is the product of a growth-inducing environment so cultivate one inside of yourself. Through steady and consistent practice, your creative skills will skyrocket! Do your best, as your creation will surely reflect your energy. Remember to stay playful in your approach and have fun creating!
