Eilie Astara has the right to decline any request at her discretion.
All art is done in Eilie Astara's creative style.
Products created from commissions may be used in Eilie AStara's portfolio or for personal promotion.
The client is encouraged to touch base about the progress of their product. Additional charges may occur depending on the time, complexity or additional change requests. No art will be continued without agreement on pricing or charges.
If a project requires a Non-Disclosure Agreement, this must be handled before the start of the product.
This is to ensure that the progress of the product is not shared with the public.

♡Commission Rules♡

The product will be developed with the client's involvement until it reaches completion.

Sketch Phase
The client will be presented a draft which includes 1-3 sketch(es) and/or any thumbnail(s) or color palette(s) as low res JPGs before execution of the final product. At this time, the client has the opportunity to approve the artwork or select their favorite if presented with more than one sketch. This is the opportunity to request 1-3 minor changes to things like shape/size of subjects, their placement, etc which will be incorporated in the final product to ensure satisfaction. Structural changes cannot be made after this step. Changes that are not included in the original description are not permitted and may occur additional charges.

Final Product
Once the sketch phase has been approved, Eilie Astara will begin the final product. Then, the client will be presented with a low-res watermarked version of the final product for final approval. This is the Final Preview Stage. This is the opportunity to request 1-3 minor changes to color, lighting, etc. Additional revisions after this point or changes which are beyond the scope of the initial description of the project will add additional charges at a rate of $50 USD per hour. Once the illustration has been approved, the final high-res, watermark-free illustration will be sent to the client after the final balance has been paid. Changes or refunds are not permitted once you are sent the final, watermark-free product.

Revisions
Clients are allowed two rounds of revisions: one during the Sketch Phase and one during the Final Product Phase. During the Sketch Phase, the client has the opportunity to request 1-3 minor changes to things like the composition, shape/size of subjects, their placement, etc. Structural changes cannot be made after this step. During the Final Preview Stage, the client has the opportunity to request 1-3 minor changes to color, lighting, etc. If any substantial revisions are required, a third round of revisions, or changes which are beyond the scope of the initial description of the project, additional charges will occur at a rate of $50 USD per hour and these will be added to the invoice.

Credit
Clients retain rights and can upload the product to other accounts and websites, but are required to credit Eilie Astara for the original design and artwork of the product itself and product listings. Eilie Astara requires a 'by' title on all products.

Original Project Files
If the client wishes to purchase the original files that the project was developed in, such as Photoshop PSD files, Illustrator AI files, InDesign INDD files, and/or After Effects AEP files, and any/all assets associated with the project, the client will pay an additional 20% of the original full price of the project.

♡Intellectual Property♡

Intellectual property of the artwork created is attributed to the original owners. Copyright of the final product will belong to the client when the product is 100% paid in full and the job has been completed. Although, Eilie Astara, retains the right to display the product publicly for her portfolio and promotional purposes.

♡Payment♡

Payments must be made either through the checkout process on this website under the Services page or in USD via Venmo or PayPal. If payment is made outside the website, a deposit of 50% of the cost must be made to Eilie Astara before the work begins on the product. For larger projects, a payment schedule may be required and this will be agreed upon by both parties via email before the start of the product.

Once the cost of the project has been agreed upon by both parties, Eilie Astara will send a contract detailing the cost of the product. Clients are requested to send an e-mail confirmation when any payments have been made.

♡Refund Policy​♡

Deposits made at the start of a project are non-refundable. Projects that have been worked on, but have not yet reached completion are eligible for a refund based on the percentage completed. A 50% refund may be issued if order is canceled during the Sketch Phase. A 25% refund may be issued if the order is canceled at the Final Preview stage. Once a product reaches completion and the final, watermark-free product has been sent, it is no longer refundable.

Refunds will be issued through Paypal or Venmo. If a refund is issued, no final product and no art files will be given, as the client will be compensating for the time spent on the project and not the project itself. In this case, Eilie Astara retains all artwork and design files. All refunded work may never be posted anywhere online, used or reproduced.
