The đMAGICAL MEWSLETTERđ is something I used to offer on my Patreon - so if you are from Patreon, welcome back! Itâs a monthly update where I share my thoughts and revelations with you all.
For the time being, I have chosen to taken an indefinite hiatus on Patreon. Why? I realized that all of my offers on Patreon were things I should be giving to my community for free to nurture them. I was putting so much effort into something that was being seen by a select few. People who may be potentially interested could not see what was behind the pay wall. I want to continue writing a Mewsletter, livestreaming and offering different things for free to my audience so that I can attract likeminded spirits who would benefit from my revelations on my creative journey.
When I choose to relaunch Patreon (which really is dependent on divine timing), I want to already have a community to offer it to and make Patreon a lot less demanding. But you bet it will have a worthwhile reward or two for my patrons! So back into the oven Patreon goes for the time being.
đ¸Magikats! The Mystery of the Moss
The first thing to đCELEBRATEđ is that I completed Magikats! The Mystery of the Moss! Well the comic pages (I still have the cover and the layout to work on!). But that is a whopping 153 pages of comics!!! This is such a feat and I am so proud of myself. I reread the story from start to finish and I am so freaking excited of this bad boy. It is everything I envisioned Magikats! to be. Magikats! The Wand of the Vale I view as a childrenâs storybook to set up the story and introduce the world. Magikats! The Mystery of the Moss is the older sibling, full of more characters, environment, adventure, magic and danger! It is seriously so good and I canât wait to debut it at Toronto Comic Art Festival in June and for you all to read it from start to finish.

I also started creating for my YouTube channel again and I am back back back again! I realized my messages thrive in longer form content because I have A LOT of words to express! Lots of thoughts in my noggin, haha. We hit off the ground running with another ARTlapse with one of the final pages in Magikats! đYou Are A Creatorđ
As we complete one chapter and move into the next, this is always an opportunity for reflection. While we are in a cycle, we can be tempted to stay with the momentum and in that go-go-go energy. As we begin to slow down, take a moment to ensure all loose ends have been tied. This is to prepare one for a strong finish, even though you may be eager to complete this phase. Once we can breathe a confident sigh of relief and satisfaction with what we created as finished, not perfect, now is time for stillness. Itâs only appropriate to take a pause to reassess. How can we move differently into this next phase of being and creation? What have we learned and in what ways can be change and grow?
Now is the time to question how one can become more visible with their creation and expand along with their creation. You may have just completed something MASSIVE and it deserves to be shared and seen. Donât be afraid to show yourself and share your creation with the world. Now is the time to go big with our projects when they are completed. After this incredible integration of another project complete, we đLEVEL-UPđ and now is not the time to play small. We must own our creations and embody itâs worth. Time to grow, expand and evolve! The adventure of life awaits.
We may expand into the realm of collaboration. Donât be afraid to ask for help or hire assistance! We cannot expect ourself to do it all. Find the support networks or explore systems that support your vision being birthed into this world. It could be outsourcing tasks that are draining, streamlining products and processes or simply not doing the things that we hate doing and finding another way to do it! We must learn to advocate for ourself and for our art so those people, assistance and support systems can find us. Now is the time to try something new!
Here is a friendly reminder to be gentle with yourself. We arenât going to be great and hit a homer on every new thing we try. The more we practice, the better we will naturally get, because we allowed ourself the opportunity to learn. If we grow our skills with steady, consistent practice and keep showing up for ourself, we can only imagine where this will lead us. Do your best for your best is all you can expect from yourself. Our best changes from day to day and life phases. We will get there, if only we have faith in ourself. Get creative! After all, creativity is our strongest muscle as creatives. Now is the time to get to work once again!
We will run into new challenges in this next phase - that is inevitable for that is the only way we grow and learn. This time, we have completed the project, we have cultivated the self esteem to have faith and trust in ourself to see things through. We are ready to face them as long as we rely on our inner strength to master the opportunities for growth before us. Our courage will see us through because we are unwilling to back down. Our bravery to stand in the ring among the critics is all we need. We arenât perfect, nor are we meant to be, but we will see our creative dreams come to fruition. This is more than those critics are willing to do, so remember to stand your ground. You got this!
Our dreams call to us for a reason. We received our visions for inspiration because inspiration and creation wishes to experience itself through us. Without us as conduits of creation, inspiration has no way of manifesting into this world. Take your dreams into your very capable hands. You are special for you are a creator. đ¨
