I am excited to share that I will be exhibiting at Fairfax Comic Con at Dulles Expo Center on August 27th! If you are in the area, please stop by. Iā€™d love to say hello! I canā€™t wait to see all the cosplayers. Should I make another Artist Alley Vlog? What behind the scenes would you like to see? Let me know your thoughts!

āœØYouTube ChannelāœØ

In my latest Studio Vlogs, I break out my Ancient Art Archives and I share my childhood art storybooks with you all! These were the early beginnings of my writing and illustration and it was so fun to share these with you. I had no idea where those early stories would take me!

I also take you along to Spa World and on a Nature walk so we can rest and recharge together and make room for new inspiration. After youā€™ve completed something big and taken some time to celebrate, it is important to unwind and actively recharge! Our creative batteries can become depleted so we must nurture ourselves to achieve our highest potential.

šŸŒ›Rest & RechargešŸŒœ

After launching Magikats! The Mystery of the Moss, I have been taking some time off to rest, relax and recharge. Iā€™m creating new art when I feel called to it. Iā€™m having more fun by being present with those around me and embarking on adventures. Iā€™m writing the next phase of Magikats! The Stranger with a Secret. Iā€™m not afraid to take time off. I am also dreaming of new magical projects like making my own Tarot and Oracle cards. The start of a new project is always the most exciting for anything is possible. Each seed of an idea carries so much potential to grow into something magnificent and beautiful. Wilder than our imaginations can even comprehend.

This is why itā€™s important for us to shut off for a while and make space for rest. We are inhibiting so much of the creative flow if we are always stuck in the doing process. We are organic, multi-faceted beings and so it is important for the quality of our lives to be able to step back and walk away for a while. This gives us a different perspective and also fills our life with such joy. And why would we rob ourselves of that?

We must learn to be more gentle with ourselves. To have more patience. To give ourselves more time. There is no need to rush. When we are rushing, we are depriving ourselves of the joy each moment brings. Plan for your creations and show up when they require you to. After you have given birth to something new, take some time back for yourself to spend on you. Then, the next path will make itself known by unfolding in front you. We just have to trust that it will reveal itself when it is time.

You are a creative whether you are creating or not. We need not always been creating to prove anything. We are what we are. We are the creators of our own life, so why not create a beautiful one?
